About Product

In-line flame arrestors are installed within piping systems to safeguard downstream equipment from potential flame propagation. In cases where an ignition source may cause the flame to travel along the direction of gas flow, or potentially from both directions, a bi-directional flame arrestor becomes essential. Generally, pipe orientation is not a concern unless the gas stream carries entrained liquids, which may accumulate inside the arrestor. For such applications, an eccentric housing can be used to facilitate liquid collection and drainage. 

In-line flame arrestors are primarily utilized in underground storage tank systems and continuous process lines.
