TANK SAFETY SOLUTION
About Product
End-of-Line Flame Arresters are designed to be installed at the termination point of a pipeline or the vent outlet of a storage vessel, where their primary function is to prevent external flames from entering the system. Contrary to common misconception, these devices are not intended to stop flames from exiting the tank or pipe, but rather to safeguard against flashback from external ignition sources.
They can typically be installed in various orientations when a weather hood is not used; however, inverted installation is discouraged, as it may cause heat accumulation, increasing the risk of flame propagation.
These flame arresters are most commonly used on above-ground storage tanks, particularly in facilities storing flammable vapors or combustible liquids, providing a critical layer of fire protection and vent safety.
