The Onus PCB-033 is a self-operated pressure reducing regulator designed for a wide range of industrial fluid control applications. Suited for both gases and liquids, this valve ensures stable downstream pressure without the need for external power or control systems.
Multiple sealing disc options are available, allowing the regulator to handle various media across a broad pressure and temperature spectrum, withstanding temperatures up to 90°C. Its adaptable design makes it suitable for both general-purpose and low-pressure precision duties.
The PCB-033 also includes variants ideal for ultra-low pressure settings, such as below 100 mm WCg (0.001 barg), making it an excellent choice for delicate processes requiring finely tuned pressure control.
•LEAK-TIGHT SHUT-OFF
A specially engineered trim minimizes seat wear and erosion, enabling the regulator to maintain tight shut-off performance even after extended use.
•BUILT-IN OVERPRESSURE SAFETY
Designed to withstand accidental inlet pressure surges (within rated limits), the regulator ensures stable shut-off even in over-pressure conditions.
•OPTIONAL DOWNSTREAM RUPTURE PROTECTION
An excess-flow check mechanism is available as an option. If downstream pressure drops suddenly (e.g., due to pipe rupture), the regulator restricts flow automatically, limiting it to a controlled bleed.
•GLANDLESS CONSTRUCTION FOR SENSITIVITY
Eliminating the traditional gland design removes hysteresis and enhances valve sensitivity and repeatability, offering more stable control compared to conventional solutions like bellows-sealed valves.
•WIDE FLOW & PRESSURE RANGE OPTIONS
Available in various body sizes and port configurations, the PCB-033 accommodates everything from high-differential pressure drops to ultra-low pressure settings, thanks to multiple actuator area options.
•TAMPER-RESISTANT PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT
Each unit includes a secure adjustment screw with locking nut and protective cap, helping maintain system integrity and avoid unauthorized setting changes.
•COMPACT & MAINTENANCE-FRIENDLY
The minimalist design includes fewer moving parts, and the regulator’s internal components—such as actuator assemblies, valve disc, and trim—can be serviced in-line without removing the body from the pipeline.
